EDUCT 2010

During the fall, 2010 semester, Dr. De Wekker’s Mountain Meteorology class designed and conducted a small field experiment near Pinnacles.  10 undergraduate and graduate students, led by graduate student Temple Lee, deployed temperature sensors, launched weather balloons, and used a tethered balloon to study boundary layer evolution on 23 October 2010.  Some pictures from the field experiment are shown below, as well as the reports the students prepared summarizing their research results.
